Pacific Regional Conference on Marine Managed Areas

Welcome to the website of the Pacific Regional Conference on Marine Managed Areas, held in Moorea, French Polynesia, 15–19 November 2009.

This conference will be the opportunity to discuss the status of already existing networks of marine managed areas (MMAs), to identify the needs of MMA managers and to produce a coordinated regional action and cooperation programme for the sustainable management and conservation of coastal and marine environments in the Pacific.
